The time has come for turning in the gatelist for the last Broncos game of the season.  Who can come help???

Oakland Raiders @ Denver Broncos
Sunday, January 1, 2017
2:25p  (10:30a check-in time)

As stated before, there is no limit to the number we can have -- it just means more money for us coming in, and an easier job for everybody involved.  So regardless of whether you have 0,1, 2, or 9 games in this season, if you're available, we could definitely use you.

I have emailed the people who have mentioned helping with this game previously, so PLEASE CONFIRM if this includes you.  And if you're not included yet, reply back to this email or call me, and I'll get you added.

FROM: Dan Weikle, CCUA PRESIDENT ( as of 12/2016)

I am extrememly disappointed in the lack of participation in the Bronco Fundraiser.  I know there are a lot of excuses out there, and  legitimate reasons for not participating.  However, there are many of you who just choose not to particpate, to let th other guy do it.  Well, I am here to tell you that there are many of those "other guys" helping as well.  Take a look at the list below this message.

This is an easy job.  You take drinks to seated club section fans during the game.  We service two bars one on the west and once on the east-both are club section.  You are inside most of the time, only leaving the club level (enclosed-warm) to deliver drinks.-maybe a five-minute excursion.

A fully staffed bar, (where there is time to watch the game in between deliveries for us), is 10 "runners" per bar.   The bar closes at the end of the thrid quarter and you can either go home or watch the fourth quarter.

We are paid by the Broncos depending on how many workers we get.  There is no limit on sign ups.  We can have more than 20.  Unfortunately, we have had less than 20 most of the season which doubles the workload for those who donate their time and limits the amount of money we can raise for CCUA.  Because signups have not gone well, we have left an awful lot of money on the table.

What I am asking is that you contact please James Brundige and participate.  December 18 and January 1 are the two remaining gsmes.  A big turn out would help our financial situation immensely.  We talke about brotherhood, so I ask don't you owe it to the brothers who have participated in this fundraiser so far?    I am asking for just a one game donation.  Please.

Thank you for your valued participation.  It is gradefully appreciated.

Here are those who have helped.  We asked each member to participate 4 times-  135 embers-21 participants to date.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The gatelist for the next Broncos game is coming due and we still have room for more volunteers.  As mentioned in the last email, we are contracted for 10, but there is no cap, so if we bring 12, 16, 20, etc. that's just more money for CCUA's fundraising.  With that stated, here are the details (1/1 is still subject to change) for the next 2 Broncos games:

>>12/18 -- New England Patriots @ Denver Broncos -- 2:25p -- check-in at 10:30a

>>1/1 -- Oakland Raiders @ Denver Broncos -- 2:25p -- check-in at 10:30a** (game could be flexed to Sunday night TBA)

If you can help, please contact me, and I'll get you on the list.  THANKS

James Brundige

CCUA Partners,

It was recently brought to my attention that maybe details of the Broncos Fundraiser hadn't been explained clearly enough.  So with a few more games remaining on the year and opportunities to help with fundraising still available, there's no better time than now to explain.

The Broncos fundraiser is the major fundraiser for CCUA, with potential to bring in nearly $10,000 through 6 months of work.  As a comparison, SNAPBooster over the last calendar year (twice the timeframe) brought in about $2700.  While we'd like to see both numbers rise, that right there is why we continue working Broncos games.  All of this money is then turned around and used on you, the current and future PARTNERS of CCUA, in the form of clinics/meetings (supplies, facility rental, food/drink, etc.), scholarships (Florida, Arizona, New Mexico, etc.), game fees while we await money from schools, youth clinic supplies, and more.

The next thing to know, is that we don't get a flat rate for the season or even per game, but rather get paid PER VOLUNTEER we supply for each game.  The rate is $75 per person prior to insurance & taxes, regardless of how many games you've worked -- everybody is on the same level.  So that is why we are continually looking for volunteers -- MORE PEOPLE = MORE MONEY.  We are contracted at 10 volunteers per game, but the Broncos will not turn people away, so if we get 12, 16, 20, or more, the better off we are as a group, and the easier the job becomes for everyone involved.  In addition, you can bring friends or family and they help us raise funds all the same.

Finally, for those that aren't sure exactly what we do, we are on the Club Level delivering drinks to the stands -- the EASIEST JOB in the stadium!!!  There is no inventory, no cleaning, no cooking, you're inside a good portion of the day away from potential weather, and we are done at the end of the 3rd quarter.  There is no charge for employee parking, and you get a meal out of the deal.

With all this presented to you, it's now time to ask for more volunteers to help finish out the year.  We have 2 games (12/18 vs New England & 1/1 vs Oakland) left to cover, as well as potential playoff games (TBA), and are looking for as many people as we can get.  So if you're able to help out, we ask as a PARTNER that you help us out with this fundraising activity.

Let me know where you can help out & THANKS,

James Brundige
